Polar
bears live near the North Pole. They are white, furry mammals,
apparently beautiful, but they are really dangerous. Their fur is
thick to survive the cold temperatures. Polar bears can be 3 metres
tall and they are between 300 and 450 kilos heavy. The polar bear is an
endangered animal—its number is small, because females one have
one baby bear. Moreover, the Inuit --Skimos-- hunt them for food and fur. But the
most serious problem they have got is the climatic change.
